We decided on a fall trip to Lake Tahoe. The day we were supposed to return, Hurricane Ike crossed directly over our home. Because the airports were closed and flights canceled, we stayed a few extra days in Tahoe – no hurry to return to an area with no electric power (was out for 3 weeks).<\/p>\n
